Formula A / Formula 2 (FA/F2)

  • 1986 and earlier cars conforming to 1986 or earlier SCCA GCR or FIA class
  • Engines up to 1600cc – FA
  • Engines up to 2000cc – F2
  • Ford / Cosworth engines only (no Toyota engines)
  • Carburetors only (no fuel injection)
  • Period bodywork must be used.
  • Tires: Slicks and rain tires permitted
  • Any car after 1980 must be signed off by the Group Representatives prior to issue of logbook and permission to racing.

Formula B (FB)

  • FB, FSV, to 1972, F-1 cars to 1960
  • Period bodywork must be used
  • Treaded tires are required
  • 4-valve engines are not allowed
  • Wings are not allowed

Formula C (FC)

  • FC, F3, Mid-engine F-Jr 1100cc, 1972 or earlier
  • 4-valve engines are not allowed
  • Period bodywork must be used
  • Treaded tires are required
  • Wings are not allowed
  • Note: FF2000 cars through 1994 are allowed in Formula C.

Formula Ford 1 (FF1)

1972 or earlier, prepared to 1972 GCR

  • Minimum weight 925 lbs (w/o fuel or driver)
  • Ford “Kent” engine only, engine prepared to 2015 or earlier SCCA GCR. (This is common with Monoposto and does allow Aluminum heads)
  • Treaded Vintage FF Tires. Rain tires are not allowed. Additional grooving or hand cutting is not allowed.

Formula Ford 2 (FF2)

1973-1981 Formula Fords, Outboard suspension on at least one end of the car, prepared to 1973-1981 GCR

  • Minimum weight 950 lbs (w/o fuel or driver)
  • Ford “Kent” engine only, engine prepared to 2015 or earlier SCCA GCR. (This is common with Monoposto and does allow Aluminum heads)
  • Treaded Vintage FF Tires. Rain tires are not allowed. Additional grooving or hand cutting is not allowed.

Formula Ford 3 (FF3)

1982-1994 Formula Fords

  • Prepared to 1986-1994 GCR
  • Identical models must have been raced in or before the cut-off year
  • Minimum weight 975 lbs (w/o fuel or driver) or 1,125 lbs with driver
  • Ford “Kent” engine only, engine prepared to 2015 or earlier SCCA GCR. (This is common with Monoposto and does allow Aluminum heads)
  • Honda Fit engines are not allowed.
  • Treaded Vintage FF Tires. Rain tires are not allowed. Additional grooving or hand cutting is not allowed.

  • Prepared to 1986-1994 SCCA GCR
  • Minimum weight 1,150 lbs (WITH DRIVER)
  • Uses a “stock” 1971-1974 SOHC Ford 2 liter engine only.
  • Slicks and rain tires are permitted
  • Note: FF2000 cars will run in Formula C.

Sports 2000 (S2000)

Sports 2000 cars through 1994

  • Identical models must have been raced in or before the cut-off year
  • Prepared to 1986-1994 SCCA GCR
  • Minimum weight 1,240 lbs (WITH DRIVER)
  • Uses a “stock” 1971-1974 SOHC Ford 2 liter engine only.
  • Slicks and rain tires are permitted

B-Sports Racing (BSR)

Sports Racers and Clubman cars (must run with fenders) up to 2000 cc, 1972 or earlier

  • All cars with Coventry-Climax FPF engines regardless of displacement
  • No four valve engines allowed
  • Identical models must have been raced in or before the cut-off year
  • Cars prepared to 1972 or earlier SCCA GCR
  • Treaded tires only
  • No wings allowed
