According to CVAR by-laws we should have an Annual Meeting on the 3rd Saturday of the month of January every year. This year, due to the ECR Driver School, in which several CVAR officials will be involved, we decided to postpone the Annual Meeting by one week. The CVAR Board of Directors held a virtual meeting on Thursday December 9, 2021, and the motion to postpone and reschedule the meeting was passed unanimously.
For the past few years, the Annual Meeting has been held in Fairfield, TX which is a reasonably acceptable geographic location for many of our members. We called the Holiday Inn Express which, according to Herb Hilton, is the only entity with an adequate meeting room within a 50 mile radius of Fairfield and they are not hosting any meetings at their hotel due to COVID restrictions.
In earlier years, CVAR had its meetings in Waco, TX, also a convenient geographic location, and we have decided to move forward with a meeting there. We will have a 1,600 SF meeting room located on the first floor of the building.
The meeting will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, and will be from 12:00PM to 4:00PM with a hard stop at that time. The location will be:
