The CVAR Board of Directors passed two resolutions unanimously on Wednesday April 1, 2020:
- The first resolution was with regard to Event Credits (“EC’s”) where an entrant paid for a CVAR race and was not able to participate. The resolution proposed that CVAR extend any existing EC’s along with ones that may have been generated by either Hallett or ECR this year, be able to use them at any time this year. All EC’s will be extended through 2020.
- The second resolution was that any entrant (including non-CVAR members) who paid for an entry to our March 20 – 22, 2020 race at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit and would like to cancel (instead of getting an Event Credit) receive a refund for the full amount and not be responsible for credit card fees.
We wanted to make sure that everyone understood how an EC actually worked. Event Credits presence on your account can be verified by using the “My Races” feature of dlbracing.com. An Event Credit can be used at any future CVAR event within 13 months of date of issue. The Event Credit is “spent” on the “Registration Summary” page (after the detailed registration input).
