CVAR is implementing a naming update to reduce ongoing confusion between two items.

Previously, the terms Competition Membership and Competition License were often mistaken for one another due to their similar wording. This led to situations where members believed they had completed one requirement when it was actually the other.

To improve clarity, the following name changes are being made:

Competition Membership is now named Full Club Membership
This remains an annual driver membership and expires on December 31 each year.

Competition License is now named Vintage Racer License
This remains the license recognized by VMC clubs. Expiration continues to be based on the date of your medical form, your age, and the duration selected.

No other membership types will have name changes.

There are no changes to fees, requirements, or processes. This is strictly a naming update to improve clarity.

These updated names will begin appearing on the CVAR website and in Track Rabbit over the coming days.

No action is required.
